We found original charts dating back to 1924 at the Library of Congress. A Weber & Costello, Chicago Heights, USA production, showing the world in all its (colonial) splendor. We have reproduced them in detail, showing the world as it was studied by our (great-) grandparents in the twenties. Interesting. No more need to scout garage sales and Madison Ave antique dealers. Weighted hardwood base. Bronze finial and support. Globe made up of twelve chromo-lithographed gores applied to a celluloid core, exactly as they were made early this century.
