Boston Lightworks New London Harbor Lighthouse Lamp
Built in 1801, New London Harbor is the oldest lighthouse in Connecticut. Built of stone with an 88-foot tower of octagonal shape, it marks the entrance to the Thames River in New London. In 1855, a fourth-order lens was installed, and a foghorn signal was added in 1874.
